Launch of the Datacc.org site on the management of research data in physics and chemistry

on the June 15, 2020

The Lyon 1 and Grenoble Alpes university libraries are pleased to announce the launch of the datacc.org site, which offers a support service on data management in physics and chemistry. This site was developed in partnership with the 'INIST and DoraNum as part of a CollEx-Persée project.

This site, intended primarily for doctoral students and researchers from these two disciplines, aims to provide a concrete response to the growing demands placed on them in terms of open science: Where to find data? How to describe your data? Where to drop them off? Which warehouse to choose? How to publish them? How to write a data management plan? How to train?

In addition to the articles and tools offered, the site also provides content fed into electronic laboratory notebooks, resulting from an experiment carried out with chemists from Lyon 1 and Grenoble.

This first version, available in French, precedes the launch of an English version scheduled for September. New content will be posted as we go along.

All comments and suggestions regarding the launch of this new platform are of course welcome!

Hoping that this site will meet your interest, the project team is at your disposal by email:
