2019 Thales AIChallenge4Health

on the March 21, 2019

March 21st, 2019
The 2019 Thales AIChallenge4Health will take place at Ensimag the March 21st from 2:00 pm.
In recent years, the integration of machine learning algorithms has become widespread thanks to their efficiency and adaptability. In particular, this technology has enabled many breakthroughs in computer vision, which offer new approaches to solve complex problems. For instance, deep learning algorithms based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) have great object detection capabilities which can be used in technology such as self-driving cars, satellite views, etc.

Without a doubt, these algorithms can have a major impact on everyday life. In the medical field, they can facilitate the daily work of healthcare professionals, particularly in the most decisive areas such as surgery.

As this technology constantly progresses, we are constantly seeking to expand our knowledge of it and to use it to improve our products, especially in the surgical field. As part of this long-term goal, we’re proposing a challenge where the aim is to accurately detect spots in X-Ray medical images using machine learning algorithms.

Today, we want to continue to push for innovation and develop our relationships with partners as we move towards our shared goals. In this way, we encourage everyone to participate in our challenge. We can all have a positive impact on the daily lives of the healthcare professionals we all rely on, so they can focus on the most important thing – the patient!

Thank you all in advance for your involvement!

This challenge is proposed by Thales AVS France MOIRANS with the collaboration of KAIZEN SOLUTIONS and the Data Institute of Grenoble.
