Data Institute Seminar: Integration of heterogeneous data for the implementation of learning techniques by Johan Montagnat

on the November 30, 2017

November, 30th at 11:30 am
Johan Montagnat from CNRS I3S Laboratory will give a talk on "Integration of heterogeneous data for the implementation of learning techniques". The event will take place on Thursday November, 30th at 11:30 am at GIN.
The mass exploitation of data and the progress of machine learning techniques make it possible to consider numerous applications for diagnostic assistance and decision support in the medical field. Learning techniques, including deep learning, however, require very large amounts of training data and considerable computing power. This presentation will detail the work done at I3S to merge heterogeneous data, distributed in different databases, by transformation and alignment techniques to form exploitable cohorts. He will then present the first steps towards using such cohorts in a machine learning chain.

Contact at GIN: Michel Dojat

Johan Montagnat will be available at GIN the whole day of the 30th, after his seminar for those who would be interested in discussing.
